OmegaQuant Plus
The Omega-3 Index Plus test is your high-resolution look into not just omega-3s, but how they interact with omega-6s and trans fats.

Know your omega-3 status. Supplement with purpose.
Omega-3 fatty acids, particularly EPA and DHA, play important roles in cardiovascular, brain, eye and cellular health. But dietary intake or supplement use alone does not tell you whether your body is achieving an adequate omega-3 status.
What the Test Measures
The test provides several key measures of fatty acid status, including:
Measures the percentage of EPA and DHA in red blood cell membranes, providing an indication of longer-term omega-3 status.
Assesses the balance between key omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids.
Measures the relationship between arachidonic acid (AA) and EPA, providing additional context on fatty acid balance.
Measures the proportion of industrial trans fats in your blood.
Who May Benefit?
Omega-3 testing may be relevant for individuals who:
Regularly take omega-3 supplements and want to assess their status
Have limited intake of oily fish or other omega-3-rich foods
Want a more comprehensive assessment of their nutritional status
Are interested in optimising cardiovascular and overall health
Want to monitor changes following dietary or supplementation adjustments
Omega-3 testing provides information about fatty acid status and should be interpreted in the context of your overall health. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
